Ambulance Service

The HMS Ambulance CAD, certified for use with the ProQA emergency triage tool, represents a new way of thinking. It provides a one-stop solution for the modern Ambulance service’s needs, with the ability to manage Emergency, Urgent and Patient Transport calls. Call Handling and Dispatching is carried out using HMS’s easy-to-use touch screen design philosophy which places large amounts of detailed information at the user’s fingertips.

We believe the HMS CAD is the first in the UK to present calls on-screen the instant they hit the call-connect switch and geo-code the caller’s location in about a second using BT’s EISEC facility.

Resources such as ambulances and first responders use inexpensive PDA phones for receiving jobs, navigating to the incident, logging statuses and tracking. Features also include a lone worker alert, auto attend and the ability to quickly switch devices between vehicles. Rugged laptops can be used to view and record observations, treatment details and patient information.

The HMS Ambulance CAD integrates with the rest of the HMS MediCall© system, giving the Ambulance Service access to patient histories and the Electronic Patient Record, enabling calls to be passed directly to and from other health and social services, enabling multi-skilled call centres, enabling hospitals to view patient treatments, observations and histories while the patient is en-route to hospital and many more benefits.

The ambulance reporting suite includes single button push Sitrep and KA34 reports. To find out more about the HMS Ambulance CAD please contact us directly by clicking here.
